I’ve been interested in both p
hotography and wildlife
all my adult life. These became
a combined passion after Marian and I watched Gray whales off Tofino,
Vancouver Island.
We waxed lyrical about the wildlife and natural landscapes we had seen to
Marian’s Aunt and Uncle in
Vancouver.
“Why don’t you go on wildlife holidays”…….. Maurice suggested .
The seed was sown and we have now been privileged to watch and
photograph wildlife on all 7 continents.
The photos I took of black bears in Vancouver were not of a high standard.
My sons, Philip and David chorused, “they’re guinea pigs not bears”.
That lesson was well learned, get decent camera kit, don’t stint on
lens quality, and get close to the subject!
I hope you enjoy the photo galleries presented here.
More to come as the list of places and species to visit continues to
grow.
To come :- Marians video clips showing the context of some
of the photos.
The Arctic around Svalbard.
Many thanks to Philip and David for giving me this website and Marian for
design and
web mastering.
